Penzers is open and continues to operate in a Covid secure environment. Penzers continues to follow strict guidance issued by its governing bodies and wearing a face covering remains a mandatory requirement in the practice. Call us to make an appointment on 0121 430 5538.

Our opening times will be reviewed regularly, but for now this is when you can visit or call us (remember not to come to the practice without letting us know and we will book you in).

Monday – 09.00 to 17.30
Tuesday – 09.00 to 17.30 (Eye testing)
Wednesday – 09.00 to 17.30 (Eye testing)
Thursday – 09.00 to 17.30
Friday – 09.00 to 17.30 (Eye testing)
Saturday – Closed
Sunday – Closed

Penzers, an award winning independent optician

In September 2019, the Midlands Enterprise Awards organised by SME News, rewarded and recognised the hardworking individuals and firms hailing from the Midlands region for their innovation and excellence in their various business practices as well as their outstanding overall performance and achievements.

Penzer Opticians was announced as a winner in these prestigious awards as a leading local independent optician and is proud to have been recognised.

This independent house practice was established by the late Robert Penzer nearly fifty years ago. And the fine tradition he built up at Maypole in the south Birmingham area is carried on today by his widow, Mrs Joy Penzer and her capable team of optical professionals.
